If a “picture is worth a thousand words,” what is a video or a movie worth in terms of communication? Obviously it is very powerful. That’s why most of us have TVs. We are raising funds for a computer, screens and projectors to enhance our worship service and to prepare for a contemporary service.

Why are we doing this? It will give us the ability to project announcements and words to songs (such as “The Family of God”) so that everyone can see them. It also will allow us to use existing video clips to promote ministries missions. We regularly receive DVDs from the Conference to show the ministry of United Methodist Committee on Relief, for example.
