April Joint Mission Project for Cutler Ridge United Methodist Church & Preschool

We are delighted to announce our joint mission project for April. We have selected to sponsor the newborn babies and their young mothers of W.I.N.G.S for life (Women in Need of Greater Strength). This is a residential program for women age 14-19 who are pregnant or who have recently given birth. The program prepares the young women for motherhood and teaches them parenting skills while allowing them to continue with school as well as providing mental health and medical care. It also provides a safe haven for the newborns.

Currently at WINGS, there are 20 young mothers, 9 babies, and 2 babies on their way. You can select from various items listed below that this organization needs. This project is by no means an obligation.

PLEASE have items in by Friday, April 24, 2009. Preschool parents may drop their items off in a box labeled WINGS, and church members may drop of their donations at the church office. They will be collected by the WINGS staff.
