A HUGE thank you to the following people who worked long, labor-intensive hours to get Rudy Hall and Chapel ready for the Preschool and others by the start of the school on August 20th!
Tom McClary—sanded, painted, and replaced ceiling grid, put in new ceiling tiles, chiseled out damaged floor tiles and replaced them.
Dionne Volmar, preschool parent—cleaned nursery carpets, which probably was contributing to the smell.
Sam Wright—dismantled old portable stage, tore out disintegrating and moldy cabinets, moved old chairs outside for free pickup; contacted businesses for plaster and air conditioning repairs.
Michelle Williams, preschool parent and church member—provided her truck and loaded and hauled off debris (two loads), with help from her daughter Brittany.
Kathy Angus, preschool director—Contracted with Stanley Steamer, who cleaned the carpet in Rudy Chapel (paid by preschool). They will also return to clean thoroughly and wax Rudy Hall floor.
Handyman Connection—repaired the plaster damage from leaks in Rudy as well as the breezeway by the water fountain.
CRUMC—paid for the air conditioning repair done by Scott Biskup and the plaster repairs by Handyman Connection.
Gerrie McClary—swept and mopped Rudy Hall floor and moved preschool cots from Fellowship Center to Rudy.
Al-Anon—will clean the windows and blinds in Rudy Hall.
Without all of these people, Rudy Hall would not have been ready for the preschool’s weekly chapel service with Sam and daily nap time, Al-Anon, South Florida Church of Christ, and other groups that use that facility. THANK YOU!!!
