SEW MUCH COMFORT - the organization that provides altered clothing for servicemen and women in VA hospitals, has been notified that both the US Army & Marines have requested the patterns to adapt UNIFORMS for recuperating troops.
This speaks volumes of how highly valued and admired the work of Sew Much Comfort is! Here at Cutler Ridge UMC there are only four ladies working on the altered T-shirts. Last year they completed 148 shirts.
Now we need donations of new shirts and more volunteers. If you can sew on a sewing machine, you can help with this project!
Please contact Jean Welsh, 305-235-0561, to donate and/or volunteer.
