Vision Statement

1. We envision our sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with hundreds of unchurched people in our community, many of whom accept Him as Savior, and bringing them into the Body of Christ.

2. We envision developing our people into true friends of Christ and leaders of our church through friendly worship services, a thriving Sunday School for all ages, leadership training, Bible study, children and youth programs, and special events.

3. We envision making our church a place where people of all cultures will feel welcomed, respected, and encouraged to participate in the ministries of our church; a place where we accept one another and are accepted, love and are loved, forgive and are forgiven, serve and are served. We will offer a variety of worship styles and languages spoken, and ministries and activities highlighting various cultural traditions.

4. We envision our glorifying and worshipping God through dynamic, people-friendly worship services in traditional, contemporary, and blended styles, music programs for all ages, and meaningful dramas.

5. We envision welcoming numerous members into our church family who are excited about Christ, cultivating friendships and giving hope to all people, both within the family of God and to the unchurched and hurting people in our community.

6. We envision growing in the knowledge of God’s Word and God’s will through biblical preaching, Bible study, Sunday School classes, preschool, children and youth ministries, and through passionate and persistent prayer, both corporate and private.

7. We envision becoming a church in which we respond to God’s love by telling this Good News to others and by giving generously and sacrificially of our time, talents, and resources in order to meet the needs of our church, its members, the community, nation, and world.
